UKISTAAJABU YA MUSSA..........
You would never imagine a former president, living with his mother in a slum, depressed, and spending his days drinking gin in the slum locals. You will imagine him flourishing under the umbrella of his retirement benefits, you know, like Moi.
According to African Review, former Sierra Leone President, Valentine Esegragbo Melvine Strasser lives in these exact conditions! Strasser, who stepped into power in 1992 at the age of 25, became the world’s youngest president then, but lost power in 1996.
Right now, his family members are begging the government to provide him with medical care and financial support.
The former president, who lives in these unbelievably deplorable conditions, has some good credits on his presidential portfolio. He brought Sierra Leone’ closer to democracy by doing away with the one party state government. During his time, Saturday was a national day for general cleaning.
